Before accepting the shipment, make sure your ATV has not been damaged during shipping. Carefully inspect the box and crate for any tears, dents, crushing or oil stains.

Sometimes shipping companies may place heavy items on top of ATV crates or handle them roughly, which can damage the vehicle.

If you suspect that your ATV has been damaged during shipping, make sure the driver documents the damage on the bill of lading before the vehicle is accepted.

TX PowerSports carefully inspects shipments before they are sent out and works with established shipping carriers to help ensure your vehicle arrives safely.

First, carefully remove all of the cardboard surrounding your ATV.

Next, remove the bolts and other hardware that secure the ATV inside the crate and prevent it from moving during transportation.

The unit should come with a bag containing bolts, instructions and a basic tool set. These items are usually located next to the ATV, often on the footrest, or underneath the seat.

The seat may have a latch at the rear that must be pressed or released to remove it. A separate box may contain the battery.

Some batteries are ready to use, while others may require preparation and charging before installation. Follow the battery manufacturer's instructions for the specific battery supplied with your ATV.

Once you have located the necessary hardware and tools, begin installing the wheels. Depending on the ATV model, the rear wheels may already be installed.

Have another person help lift the front of the ATV while you install the two front wheels. Make sure all wheel hardware is installed correctly and tightened securely according to the vehicle's instructions.

Some models use washers and retaining pins. If supplied, install them correctly and secure the retaining pin with pliers.

Locate the handlebars and adjust them to the appropriate position for the rider. Use the supplied Allen wrench to tighten the handlebar clamp screws.

Depending on the model, you may need to install the brake lever, starter controls and thumb throttle. Use the appropriate screwdriver or supplied tools.

Make sure all controls are positioned correctly and operate freely. After installation, go over all screws and fasteners and make sure they are securely tightened.

Depending on your model, you may need to install the front bumper and/or the front and rear racks.

Locate the appropriate screws and hardware in the supplied hardware bag and install the components according to the owner's manual for your specific ATV.

Before installing the battery, make sure it is properly prepared and charged according to the battery manufacturer's instructions. Some units may include a complimentary battery charger.

Some batteries require preparation before use. If your battery requires electrolyte or another supplied solution, follow the instructions provided with the battery. Do not assume the supplied liquid is water or salt solution.

Once the battery is ready, install it in the battery compartment. Connect the positive (+) cable to the positive (+) terminal and the negative (-) cable to the negative (-) terminal. Secure the terminals properly.

Finally, reinstall the seat and make sure the seat latch engages securely.

Your ATV is now assembled and ready for its pre-ride checks. Before starting the engine, review the owner's manual and make sure all assembly work has been completed correctly.

We also recommend checking the engine oil before the first start. Some vehicles may sit in a factory or warehouse for an extended period before being sold, and the oil level and condition should be verified before operation.
